The background of the piece is very interesting and gives the piece a nice feeling of depth. The reflection of the wolf in ice is a nice touch. The shading is okay but the subject seems to be lit from multiple angles. Anatomy is okay, the animal is easily identifiable as a wolf. However, the right front leg seems to get thinner and then thicker at strange sections and it looks like it doesn't have a wrist. The biggest problem with the subject is the claws on the wolf are very distracting and take away from the subject. The wings on the wolf are very well done and the details are fantastic.
Overall, a well done, detail heavy piece with an amazing subject.
I really love the background. You payed attention to detail. The trees are very well done. So is everything else. The thing that caught my eye in the background the most was the water. You made it transparent so you can see the bottom and you put the reflection. I really love that.
The wolf has pretty much perfect anatomy. You did a great job with it. I like how you added the wings , it's unrealistic, but a beautiful touch. This drawing still would have been remarkable if it was just a wolf, but you added something different to the picture.
